2019 East Greenwich,RI Regional Gathering
Our second on-the-water event for 2019 takes place July 13 & 14 at the East Greenwich Prime Marina up near the head of Narragansett Bay. You hear people talk about travel saying that the destination is only part of the trip, the rest is getting there. That may be the case for this event since getting to East Greenwich takes sailors past the legendary Newport as well as Jamestown and very near to Bristol, Rhode Island. Depending on which way you are coming from you could frame your visit with stops in Buzzards Bay, New Bedford, Block Island, Sakonnet River/Mount Hope Bay, Stonington, and even Eastern Long Island.
The event will start with a BYOB / BYO Snack event on the docks Saturday afternoon and will feature a member pay as you go dinner Saturday night (Restaurant TBD). We'll let you know the restaurant as soon as we have details locked in.
Prime Marina has both slips and moorings available for TONE. Members will need to contact the marina directly to make reservations for the event. Their telephone number is: (401) 884-8828.
