Boat for Sale: 1974 Tartan 27 Description: Tartan 27SL with 25hp Diesel $3800 Contact: John Helms; 251-269-7911; joliverhelms@hotmail.com It is a 27' 1974 Tartan 27 SL. It has a 25hp M4-30 diesel engine but needs a starter. The interior is in good shape. The exterior needs to be cleaned. The deck could use some paint. It had a bottom job about 3 1/2 years ago. It can sleep 5. The galley has an alcohol stove and a foot pump sink. The headroom is about average. If you are 6 foot or more you will have to bend a little. The toilet has not been used in over five years. It has a collapsible bladder that holds about 20 gallons. The sails are serviceable. The main could use a cleaning. The jib has roller furling. There are three or four storm sails that will go with it. It is a great boat. We have owned it for nine years. We have not sailed in over a year. It needs some TLC. Here are a few more pics.
