My 1981 T33 has seen only fresh water. My boatyard says I should replace the standing rigging. It has no visible signs of deterioration, and it feels solid. Any suggestions?

Change the rigging.
You could do what I'm doing and change out some every year. If you don't know how old it is you should change it so you do know. I've had to change the standing rigging on every boat I've owned so far. You can't tell if a rig is close to failure by looking at it.
Where are you located? You could take it all down and mail it to rigging only and they make new stuff and mail it back. If you live near here you could drive into them

I’m in the Cleveland area, Daniel. Thanks for your reply. My rigging is the original, so it’s 37 Year’s old. I suppose I should heed my boatyard’s advise.
